Veronica Slater is an artist now living and working on Mull. She works predominantly in painting and mixed media.

Veronica trained as a painter at Camberwell School of Art and subsequently completed an MFA in Fine Art at Newcastle. She has exhibited in prominent UK touring shows including Along the Lines of Resistance (The Cooper Gallery, Barnsley) and The Borrowed lmage (City Arts Centre, Edinburgh) and has shown internationally, including at the Judith Anderson Gallery in Auckland, New Zealand. Her work is also featured in two major books, Damned Fine Art  (Cassell) and Outlooks (Routledge),and is held in both private and public collections. She now lives and works in Fionnphort on the Ross of Mull.
