Veronica Slater

CARAVAN is an exhibition of painting, video and installation by Mull-based artist Veronica Slater. The work uses wallpaper, ornaments, painting and film to convey the transient spaces which caravans can represent as sites of mobile domesticity and potential refuge. Inspired by the discovery, and subsequent appropriation, of a long-disused caravan on the Ross of Mull, the work at AN TOBAR explores and documents the evolution of this space, creating a dream-like environment out of fragments of pattern, colour and domestic objects.

Exhibition Open: Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 4pm. Admission Free.
