The Edinburgh Quartet is the resident ensemble of the Ian School of Music, Napier University.
The Quartet's repertoire is extensive and the players have been closely associated with composers such as Tippett, Lutyens, Gal, Leighton and James MacMillan who is one of the Quartet's patrons. Frequently featured in radio and TV broadcasts for the BBC and other stations, the Quartet is in demand as Scotland's most travelled musical export.
