Alison Bell trained in textiles at The Glasgow School of Art and Duncan of Jordanstone. She was elected a Royal Fellow of the Society of Artists in 1977 and is now based on Arran.
She finds the natural beauty of Arran an endless source of colour and inspiration. Taking the shoreline as a theme she photographs the shore’s changing surface and textures and prints the images onto silk. |
