The Scottish Ensemble is an internationally renowned group made up of 11 string players, who play standing in a semi-circle and without a conductor, led from the violin by Artistic Director, Jonathan Morton. Together, they produce a sound than can range between the intimacy of a quartet, to the fullness and depth of a chamber orchestra. Widely acclaimed for their sensitive playing, interesting commissions and collaborations and dynamic stage presence, this promises to be an outstanding evening of classical music.

The concert takes place in Tobermory Church, Argyll Terrace, next door to AN TOBAR. This will be followed by a reception at AN TOBAR. Join us for a glass of wine and an opportunity to meet the players.
