Midge Gourlay is a textile artist from Port Appin, Argyll. Inspiration for her work comes from the seas around the Argyll coast and landscapes in the south of France. She uses a range of techniques which include dyeing, fabric manipulation with machine embroidery, hand embroidery, paint and hand made silk paper.
