Guitarist Kevin Mackenzie is a highly respected and much sought after musician within the jazz and traditional Scottish music scenes. In 2001, he was the recipient of a Creative Scotland Award resulting in ‘Vital Signs’ a collaboration involving musicians Simon Thoumire, Aidan O’Rourke and Chris Stout amongst others.
