Digital photographs taken while about our daily business and in chasing the elusive light.
Personal history/training
John has been taking photographs for fifty years now – ever since he was given his first camera. First of all it was black and white of course, soon performing his own developing and printing, and later using colour slides. Photography then took a bit of a back seat in his life until digital cameras came along. John likes 'juicy' colours and natural forms, and still finds it difficult not to frame the shot exactly, rather than allowing a little extra and adjusting the composition in the computer.
