Ingrid von Donseelar's work focuses on birds and beasties from Scotland and around the world. They are modelled in earthenware clay and hand glazed in natural colours. Each piece is unique and completely hand-made.

Ingrid is entirely self-taught, having begun working at a young age with 'Das' clay on the kitchen table, encouraged by her father. A move to England allowed her to start making fantasy  figures, while a later move to Mull put her in touch with nature in general and wildlife in particular.
