Friday 5th & Saturday 6th October - Astronomy in the Park

Forestry Commission Scotland and An Tobar will host members of the Dark Sky Scotland team including astronomers from the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh and Glasgow Science Centre for a series of free astronomy events both in Aros Park and at An Tobar.

Friday 5th October, 7-9pm

Family Stargazing - with lots of astro-stuff whatever the weater! Event starts at An Tobar then moves to Aros Park. Please come dressed for the outdoors!

Saturday 6th October

2-6pm

Family Astrofun - Starlab planetarium shows, comet making demonstration, handling some rocks from space, rocket launching, make your own constellation umbrella (please bring a brolly!)

7-9pm
