Celtic harmonica player, Donald Black, is the foremost exponent of Scottish harmonica playing across the globe at some of the most prestigious musical festivals around. Rather than the harmonica tradition, Black's influences come from prominent Scottish accordion players including Tobermory's own Bobby Macleod, Jimmy Shand, Phil Cunningham and Fergie MacDonald as well as fiddle players and pipers from across the country.
