Benêche was borne out of Glasgow's bustling traditional music scene. The idea was to record some of the sets they most enjoyed playing in the pub: a blend of traditional and contemporary Scottish and Irish music, along with personal compositions. Accordion, fiddle, guitar and bodhràn have formed the backbone of many world-famous acts, and combined they produce an exciting blend.
