Description of work
I am a furniture maker/sculptor.  My pieces are formed from local hard wood (Whych Elm, Oak and Beech).

Personal history/training
I am self taught, brought up on a farm in Somerset; I have carved with wood since I was eleven.  Calgary Bay has been my home with my wife and two young boys for the last sixteen year.

Artist's Statement
People usually draw their inspiration from their surroundings and my furniture has a wee bit of the sea in it as well as a bit of hill and Calgary Bay.
